Supporting Mental Health Through Community, Creativity, and Care

At Wellness Counseling Services, we believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health support. This spring, we’re inviting our community to come together for our 3rd Annual Kids Spring Fundraiser.  This year we are doubling the fun by hosting our event designed to support that mission while creating meaningful, joy-filled experiences for children and families on two dates.

We’re proud to host our two day Kids Spring Fundraiser Events—two opportunities to connect, give back, and make a real impact.  Join us for a fun spring fundraiser supporting kids and families wellness counseling with games, snacks and good vibes all around!

Where Is The Event Being Held?

Prospect Park, Brooklyn

We will be hosting our event on both date at Prospect Park – Grand Army Plaza Picnic Area Off of Long Meadow Field by Endale Arch. Please see alternative map above for more accurate location.

Closest Entrances to Event: Prospect Park West and Garfield Place or Grand Army Plaza past the farmers market. Closest Restroom Areas to Event are the Public Bathroom at the Picnic Building and Porta Pottys at Grand Army Plaza Entrance near Farmers Market.

How Can I Sign Up My Child to Participate?

We want children to be able to participate regarless of the families ability to donate to our cause.  For that reason have come up with a way for all children to participate by having thier guardians fill out our Family Registration Form.

By filling out this form your family will recieve:

• Child Participation Necklace for each participating child. (to be worn to engage in activities)
• Adult Participation Necklace for Yoga. (to be worn to engage in activities)
• 3 Raffle Tickets– Raffle Prizes will be selected at 3:30 PM.
• One Bag to collect up to 5 eggs (photo below) Color Options: Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, and Yellow.
• Each child will have access to our Spring Fields and can collect 5 eggs of candy, (a candy key will be available at event should your child have any allergies or there is any candy you do not wish your child to have please inform the volunteer at Spring Fields area)

What Activities Will Be Avaliable at the Event?

• Story Time Corner,
• Face Painting Table,
• Family Activities and Games (hoola hoops, skip-bo, parents are human card activity game, siblings are human card activity game)
• Candy Trading Post Area (children can go to this area to trade candy with other participants to help develop their social skills.)
• Access to our Spring Backdrop for a Family Photo on your phone.
