Jason Ducos, LCSW-R, CASAC-Master Clinical Director and Founder

Specialty: Clinical Social Work and Substance Abuse Counseling

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in crisis intervention and substance abuse counseling. I work with adults and couples who are seeking relief from trauma, grief, anxiety and depression, relationships issues, and life adjustment. I believe recovery and healing is not a one size fits all. Every individual and couple has a unique set of internal and external strengths. I use a holistic and creative, solutions focused based approach that is influenced by trauma therapy, attachment theory, psychodrama and theory of intersectionality. I believe that no matter what point you are in life that there is room to heal, room to grow, and room to thrive as your most authentic self.

I tell anyone I meet who is seeking out counseling, it’s crucial to find a therapist who is the right fit and makes us feel safe and comfortable.  If you are interested in working with me, I approach psychotherapy as an alliance. We are partners in your journey of self discovery, reframing obstacles into lessons that help you live the most authentic life you can.  It takes courage to admit that life’s burdens are sometimes too hard to bear alone. Opening up in therapy is an act of courage, strength and self love.

Brittany Drayton, LMSW Associate Clinician

Specialty: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Financial Social Work, Holistic Psychotherapy

I’m Brittany, a Licensed Social Worker educated at Fordham University and a Certified Financial Social Worker. As one of a limited number of CFSWs, I offer a unique integration that most therapists can’t: addressing both the emotional roots and financial realities of the challenges you’re facing.

Why this matters: Money concerns don’t exist in a vacuum. They’re deeply intertwined with our self-worth, boundaries, relationships, trauma history, and the stories we’ve internalized about what we deserve. When we address only the emotional piece or only the practical piece, we miss the fuller picture of healing and growth.

I specialize in supporting clients navigating:

  • The intersection of financial stress and mental health
  • Anxiety and adjustment disorders
  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion
  • Boundary issues and people-pleasing patterns
  • Emotional abuse and trauma recovery
  • Confidence and self-esteem challenges
  • Life transitions (career changes, relationships, financial shifts)

My person-centered, culturally responsive approach honors your unique story and lived experience. Whether you’re healing from past trauma, rebuilding after emotional abuse, working through anxiety tied to financial insecurity, or simply trying to understand why certain patterns keep repeating—I create a safe space where you can explore not just what you’re feeling, but why, and how to move forward with greater clarity and strength.

With experience serving diverse cultures and communities, and as a member of the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work, I’m committed to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development. My empathic approach allows me to listen deeply and help you make connections between your emotional experiences and the practical challenges you’re navigating.

When you’re ready, I’m here.

Joseph Taibbi, LMSW, CASAC

Specialty: Anxiety and Depression, Substance Abuse Counseling

I am a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) with extensive experience in clinical supervision, substance use treatment, and mental health care. With a master’s degree in advanced clinical Practice from Walden University and years of hands-on experience, I provide high-quality, person-centered care to diverse populations.
Specializing in supporting individuals navigating mental health concerns, I have worked with young professionals, the LGBTQIA+ community, and clients from multicultural backgrounds. I am deeply committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring every client feels seen, heard, and valued. My approach emphasizes creating a safe, supportive environment where healing and growth can flourish.

Brigid Edwards, LMSW

Specialty: Clinical Social Work

I am a Licensed Master of Social Work following my education from the University at Buffalo. I work with kids, teens, and adults. At the forefront of my work are the trauma-informed and human rights perspectives with an emphasis on diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.

I see clients as individuals who are impacted positively and negatively by their family, community, culture, and the world at large. Being LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent myself, I support, affirm, and uplift these and other minority communities to build their self-esteem and self-advocacy skills in the face of oppressive forces.

As all people are individuals who cannot fit into one mold, I help clients find various tools and techniques which best suit their needs. I borrow from mindfulness, experiential therapy, affirmative therapy, somatic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I provide aid in coping with and managing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), neurodivergence (autism and ADHD), trauma, grief, disability or chronic illness, minority stress, and life transitions.

Anabel Grant, LMSW

Specialty: Clinical Social Work

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a solid background in clinical practice and a strong interest in helping individuals through emotional, physical, and behavioral concerns. My transition into psychotherapy began when I developed an interest in the craft of storytelling and being with others, which I first did with a journalism major before entering social work. I earned my BSW and MSW with honors from Walden University, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Capella University to deepen my understanding of human behavior in both clinical and organizational settings.

Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings—ranging from medical social work and hospice to child protective services and trauma-informed counseling. This has influenced my therapeutic style: client-centered, empathic, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I have specialty in psychosocial assessment, bereavement work, crisis intervention, and connecting clients with community resources. Whether I am working with families through end-of-life care or walking with individuals through traumatic experiences, I seek to create a safe, affirming space for healing and transformation.

I bring bilingual fluency in English and Tagalog, cultural sensitivity, and a strengths-based lens to my practice. I’m proud to be affiliated with professional organizations such as NASW, Phi Alpha Honor Society, and the National Society of Leadership and Success. My goal is to empower clients to reclaim their narratives, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Therapy, to me, is not just a profession—it’s a vocation grounded in empathy, activism, and the belief that every single person needs to be heard, understood, and empowered.

Life throws us more than a few curveballs amid all the twisting and turning in our journey. Because we are all human, we can feel discouraged at some point, but there is no shame in feeling that way. In my volunteering mission excursions to Delmas, Haiti; Monterey; Mexico; San Jose, Costa Rica; and other countries, I have encouraged many with trauma, anxiety, and depression, among other conditions.

We’ll take a deep dive at the past and present thinking patterns to find the trauma and decide where you want to direct your life. I am confident that we can forge a path unique for you through a fusion of cognitive behavioral and Adlerian approach.

Specialty: Mental Health Counseling

I am a mental health counselor who specializes in working with young adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, tough transitions, and trauma. While my overall approach to therapy is person-centered, I tend to integrate into sessions CBT, IPT, psychodynamic, and a touch of Adlerian, ACT, and narrative. While some problems have easy solutions, some do not. I tend to adapt my therapeutic modality based on that. I am also  neurodiversity-affirming and incorporate intersectionality into my work.

My philosophy is that clients are collaborative in their treatment. While I have a major role and will not be passive in treatment, I acknowledge that clients have expertise in their own right. I know that for a lot of people, starting to attend therapy is tough. There is a lot of power in having a space to open up and I hope I can provide that space.
